Pacifica Military Direct ebooks are designed so that you do not need to purchase an expensive dedicated ebook reader, such as a Kindle®, Nook®, or iPad®. All you need to do is download an executable (exe) file that opens the ebook in its own self-contained reader, which looks and functions much like the extremely popular Adobe Acrobat® reader. One of the great advantages our reader has over dedicated ebook readers is its ability to showcase photos, maps, and other graphics materials that the dedicated readers basically cannot handle. Please see the sample chapters available in our Free section to get a feel for the eye-popping clarity of our photo books.

Ordering and Fulfillment

- Software Requirements: You do not need any special software to read Pacifica Military Direct stand-alone ebook file, but your PC computer must have one of the following operating systems: Windows XP, Windows Vista, or Windows 7. Macs must have the proper support software: Boot Camp, Parallels Desk Top, or VMware Fusion. Mac and Linux users should read the advice from our software developer at: http://www.drumlinsecurity.co.uk/applemac.html
- Mac Test Area: Mac users, please download this small exe test file: TheSteelWedgeFreeSampleChapter.exe. If you cannot open it on your OS X system, none of the Pacifica Military Direct ebooks will work unless you upgrade your software.
- Ordering: In order to purchase your Pacifica Military Direct book, you will need to make payment through Paypal. It is very easy to set up a Paypal account if you need to. Just follow the simple directions.
Once you have linked to your Paypal account, you will make payment to Sales@PacificaMilitary.com. Include a message that tells us which title you are purchasing and the email address you want the authorization code to be sent to. Include a person’s name for our records (and refer to that name in all future contacts).
- Fulfillment: Pacifica Military Direct is currently an experimental program. At this time, we do all the work by hand. We check for orders frequently, but please be patient with us.
You may download any Pacifica Military Direct ebook file at any time simply by clicking the Download link shown beneath the cover of the book you want. Note that the book will not open until you have entered the unique authorization code for your purchase.
When we have the order and payment in hand via Paypal—as soon as possible—we will send a text file containing the authorization code.
- Restrictions: The authorization code is good for placement on one hard drive. Once the ebook file is authorized, it can be moved anywhere on the one drive, but it will not work on any other drive or any other computer. The code is good for two uses, in case you upgrade your operating system or transfer to a new computer or hard drive.

- Note: The book files are optimized for most standard computer screens. The larger the screen, the easier the pages are to read. Smaller screens, such as netbook screens, will probably require up-and-down and side-to-side scrolling. We do not recommend our stand-alone ebooks for iPhones and similar devices.
